Visiting an onsen, or Japanese hot spring, is a must-do experience on any trip to the country. Discover Tokyo's traditional bathing culture with this ticket to Ooedo Onsen Monogatari!
Ooedo Onsen Monogatari
Ooedo-Onsen Monogatari is a hot spring complex home to 13 different types of thermal baths: the perfect environment to relax and enjoy this traditional Japanese experience.
Located on the artificial island of Odaiba in Tokyo Bay, these baths (called onsen in Japanese) are separated by gender according to Japanese tradition. Visiting the onsen is an unforgettable experience: from bathing in the pools, to walking through the beautiful gardens and trying on a yukata, a traditional Japanese robe.
You can also visit a recreation of the Tokyo district of Shitamachi, where you'll find shops, restaurants and stages where you can watch traditional shows being performed.
The Ooedo Onsen Monogatari baths are open from Monday to Friday from 11 am to 9 am the following day, with last admission at 7 am.
Please note: it is not permitted to access the hot springs if you have tattoos, due to the traditions and restricitons of the facilities.
