Discover the magic of Akihabra, Ryogoku and Ningyocho, three of Tokyo's liveliest neighbourhoods, on this electric bike tour of the Japanese capital.
Tokyo Electric Bike Tour
On the morning of your bike tour, meet your guide at 9 am at Otemachi station, ready to embark on your three-hour guided route around the best of Tokyo.
First up, you'll pedal over to Akihabara, one of the city's most important shopping districts. Cycle through its colourful streets and as you pass the bright neon lights of the different shops, you'll see for yourself the importance of the electronics industry in Japan.
You'll then bike towards Asakusa, where you'll be struck by its contrast to Tokyo's more contemporary districts, as this is one of the city's most traditional neighbourhoods. Riding through the streets on your comfortable electric bikes, you'll get to admire the beautiful architecture of monuments like the iconic Sensoji Temple, the most famous Buddhist place of worship in the area.
The next stop on your bike tour will be Ryogoku. You'll explore the district's most emblematic places of interest, discovering the area's link to sumo wrestling, Japan's national sport.
Having learnt all about the famous sport, you'll pedal to Ningyocho, one of Tokyo's most curious neighbourhoods. During your tour, you'll learn about the important historic roots of the area, and you'll discover how it got the name "Doll Town", as "Ningyocho" translates.
At the end of your electric bike tour of Tokyo, you'll return to the original meeting point at Otemachi station for 12 pm.
